NIFL standings data incorrect again?! LOL!

Post by ChampionOfSteel » Mon May 15, 2006 1:17 pm

Osceola is 6-3?
I got them at 4-3.

Dayton is 2-4?
I got them at 2-3.
Damn, I didn't realize Dayton played six games?

Palm Beach is 1-4?
I got them at 1-3.

Here's my calculations:

Have we started to secretly award forfeits for games postponed/not played?

Can someone fill me in on what's going on?
If you don't let the people with the money know you prefer the NIFL game system, you won't see any stable leagues copying the NIFL game system for your enjoyment!

Speak up!

Hmmmmm games postponed/not played...Kinda the NIFL's version of "no, honey your goldfish isn't dead. He always float on the top when he's taking a nap". No forfeit. You get credited with a loss.
And make no mistake, it is not a benefit to a team to sit out a game. Too much rust starts to form on a team that needs to work on continuity and chemistry. You can only do so much in inter-squad games.

Osceola has two wins via forfeit. (WP and Dayton). That's where the confusion comes in.

The NIFL did sneak in a couple of forfeits when nobody was looking.
