(ABA) D-League on Versus?

Post by Minor League Man » Sun Jan 17, 2010 2:54 am

Tuned into Versus right now...checked the D-League site and the game's still going, but Versus is airing rodeo instead.

Did the D-League forget to pay a bill? (They'd have NO excuse)

I don't believe the game is supposed to air until 11 pm ET. That's what the D-League announced in its initial press release.

Well, it's quarter after 10 CT, and still nothing...just the bull-riding championship.

ESPN would at least say "The D-League game will begin airing upon completion of the PBR competition tonight"

Versus just put up a "NBA Development League: NEXT" banner... live bull riding gets priority over taped basketball, I guess... :)

it's 11:45pm ET and the time slot on the TV Guide Network says the D-league should have started at 11pm. Bull-riding is still on

Bull riding was live and went long. The game is being shown from the beginning.

Everybody, please remember, no other league is the ABA. The ABA didn't appear on Versus after it announced a deal, but that doesn't mean the D-League, the NBA's own minor league, is going to have the same fate. They generally follow through on what they announce. Does the ABA really have us all this jaded?

There are the same obvious differences in video between the various cameras they are using as when it shows on the internet. The best settings are on the high angle one they use for close-ups on the player that just scored.
