Does anyone know if there's an issue with Billings going back to the Outlaws nickname? I thought the NIFL site had changed it at one time before reverting to the Mavericks. Now the logo is down alltogether.

left hand doesn't know what the right is doing?????? Wait, this is the NIFL, that's a given LOL.

I think they had a deal with the old Outlaws owner, but appears negotiations are stalled. At least we know Billings will play.

Outlaws and Outlaws

The Kissimmee Kreatures became the Osceola Outlaws on Nov. 19. Then the Billings team decided to call themselves the same name. Osceola's reverted to Osceola Football until this gets settled, but I'm seeing references to the Billings Mavericks.

They're in 2 different conferences, just let 'em both be the Outlaws. The league has bigger fish to fry anyway. Anybody at home in Charlotte, being that you're supposed to open the season in Kissimmee in 3 weeks?

I agree. The CFL had two teams named the Rough Riders for years and it didn't seem to affect anything.
