Ownership Groups

Post by Hockey » Tue Nov 18, 2008 7:14 pm

Do any of these "new teams" have ownership groups? Or is this an "if you build it they will come" sort of deal.

PR updated on their homepage:

Owners:
1) Austin Texas. [Albert Martinez, owner]
2) Houma , Louisiana [Franklin Thomas, owner]

4) Lafayette , Louisiana [Bentley Turner, owner]
5) Lake Charles , Louisiana . (Louisiana Swashbucklers, owned by Hager and playing in the Lake Charles Civic Center .

Guess the answer is "yes," and "yes."

Sorry,I am just now able to get to this.

The answer was Yes and No...

Each Ownership group approached us. And we would not have launched this without having at least 6 owners, not 6 markets without owners..

Well, it appears at least 3 more teams have nicknames now:

Say hello to the Austin Turfcats, Lafayette Mudbugs, and Texas Titans (Pasadena)!

Where are you getting all this info?
Team names and owners.

I can't find it on the SIFL site?

The owners are listed in the SIFL's updated press release.

Team names, I found out by looking at several news articles.
