confirmed to newsletter subscribers of the Detroit Pistons/Shock ownership (Tom Wilson) @ Palace Sports & Entertainment that the Shock are indeed leaving Detroit for Tulsa

Now with the folding of the Sacramento Monarchs, the team will not only be changing cities but conferences as well.
Western-Seattle, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Minnesota, Tulsa, San Antonio
Eastern-Chicago, Indiana, Connecticut, New York, Washington, Atlanta

New to the world of The WNBA, but the Tulsa team announced today/ yesterday that they were keeping the name SHOCK and new logo
