Good story the last time a NFL vs. CFL exhibition game took place was in 1961.

You don’t have to spend long on the CFL’s or NFL’s social media to stumble across the seemingly whimsical musing of a fan who wishes that the two leagues would go head-to-head in an exhibition game.

While the dream of seeing a CFL team matched up against an NFL one are highly unlikely today for a myriad of reasons, some fans might be surprised to know that such games have already happened, numerous times in fact.

Similar to the college all-star game that used to be played, the image would be bruised if the united states champion were to lose a harmless exhibition to Canada, claiming to be world champions is hype by the NFL you can't keep what you kill if you are afraid to kill it. And in this case you only have one country to beat down to claim your [world championship title] the others playing this style of football are playing world championship games at the level that fit them. Canada and USA are supposedly the big dogs in the park for this sport, if you want to be a global sport lay stake to the claim.

I wouldn't see much interest in such a game. Mush would depend on what brand of football is played. How many American coaches went to CFL and failed miserably thinking "football is football"? Even CFL experienced coaches are outdated in today's CFL game.

There's nothing like a full CFL season where the final result can change over 2 weeks. There's nothing like an NFL season where surprising turnarounds mix the season and spice the playoffs. It's two different worlds which carry their own upsides. Best for both is to stay aside.
