"If games are missed, it hurts no one" ...... ABA CEO Joe Newman 2/9/09
Due to numerous threats of legal action from certain people.......all of the above is my opinion only and it should be noted that I have never invested in the ABA. It is simply one mans opinion.

If they want to make it work, I hope they keep it in one geographical region to start (the Northeast or the Midwest). Travel costs have to be killing some of these minor league teams.

Interesting
The UBL is starting its second season with, from my recollection, four teams from last year and one new team, all in a geographic region that would overlap the midwest USBL locations very nicely.
Denton, TX
Little Rock, AR
Oklahoma City, OK
Springfield, MO
Tulsa, OK (new, looks like a travel team this season)
Throw in these previous USBL locations:
Enid, OK
Salina, KS
Dodge City, KS
and you have a nice, fairly tight cluster with the longest possible bus ride coming in at 10 hours.
Even if the UBL teams don't join, the USBL teams are really are too close to not play the better ones for variety if nothing else.
