Clippers to purchase G-League team for 2017-18 season

Post by toad455 » Sat May 06, 2017 2:43 am

Team to play in either Ontario or Bakersfield bringing the league up to 26 teams for 2017-18. This would leave only Portland without an affiliate by the 2018-19 season.

Though, maybe Portland will simply take over the Erie Bayhawks team when Atlanta's arena in College Park is ready for 2019? That would bring the G-League up to 30 teams by 2019. Denver gets a team in Omaha, New Orleans in Baton Rouge or Mobile & Washington in their new practice facility.
