I'd guess and say the alignment for 2016 will split the conferences with 11 teams each. Two divisions with 5 teams and two with 6 teams

ATLANTIC
Maine
Long Island
Westchester
Delaware
Greensboro

CENTRAL
Erie
Canton
Fort Wayne
Grand Rapids
Toronto
Windy City

WEST
Los Angeles
N. Arizona
Santa Cruz
Reno
Salt Lake City

SOUTHWEST
Rio Grande
Austin
Texas
Oklahoma City
Iowa
Sioux Falls

For 2017-18: We could see the addition of 5 more teams: Oshkosh(Milwaukee), Bakersfield(LA Clippers), Rochester(MIN - TWolves), Omaha(Denver) & Orlando's Florida team(Jacksonville). There could be 6 if Atlanta moves ahead with the addition of a Georgia based team. With Orlando leaving Erie for a local team, Erie could be owned by either Portland or New Orleans(or folds like Idaho & Dakota). Washington's team wouldn't enter until the Wizards' practice facility is open in 2018.
