I posted this on my forum, but if you've been there lately, you'd see why I'm posting this here. Sheesh, I haven't posted here in ages!

According to http://triseg.com/alleycats.htm , the Alleycats will be moving somewhere in Indianapolis. This of course, seems like a bad idea. Indy already has the Pacers. Some may say Ft. Wayne would be a good choice, but they're one of the cities slated for a D-League team next year. South Bend would also be nice, if not for Notre Dame.

I tried to whittle this down to a few cities in Ohio and Indiana, and of those that I considered, I think Findlay OH would be the best place to move the Cats. Why Findlay? Findlay has a strong economy, a current lack of entertainment, and a great facility (which I saw firsthand on a college visit a while back) which seats around 3,500 I think. Although it is the home of the University of Findlay, I honestly don't see them being a threat to CBA basketball. Also, attendance will be padded by the closeness of Tiffin, Bowling Green, and the Toledo metropolitan area.

I'd love to hear what you think.

It appears as though the one city I missed was Gary. According to this article, tentative plans call for the Alley Cats to move to Gary and become the Steelheads.
