I don't know if I agree with this version of the CBA saying it has been in existence since 1946. Seems to me this is the third incarnation of the CBA.

Wasn't Albany the last team standing after the dust settled?

Edit: I just took a look at the Wiki page of the CBA and Albany was listed as the only team for the past season.

Thank you for the above information and your continued interest in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA).

The websites and social networks established by CBA Properties, LLC (cbacourtside.com and jrcba.com) are not official sites of the CBA. These sites have or are in the process of being taken down per our request. We apologize for not catching this situation sooner.

We hope to have the CBA make a return in the very near future but as many of you know a significant amount of damage has been done to the brand and the sport at this level over the past several years. We appreciate your patience and will establish a temporary website in the coming weeks to prevent the above situation from happening in the future.

Just like that, CBA is gone again. I would like to see this "new" CBA provide the purchase agreement that shows they legit own the trademark legally and all that.

Doesn't Earl Childress, owner of the St. Louis Stunners, have the rights to the CBA? I beleive that is why he left or was removed from the ABA.
