miners vs patroons

Post by roncris8 » Sun Jan 25, 2009 5:57 am

Patroons win big 140 to 111. Very good shooting team. Miners coach sounded very unhappy on postgame interview. Id say crowd was around 1100
or more.

The announced attendance was over 1400. I dont remember the exact number. Sloppy, sloppy game by the Miners. They didn't get the memo that they are supposed to play defense.

The Patroons have done a great job of increasing their overall talent level after losing to that ABA team and losing 3 straight to Lawton. Campbell, Thomas, J.J. And Showime Hill are all legit pro talents. They have gone from a joke to the best team in the CBA in less than a month.

bounce back win from the Miners today infront of roughly 1000 fans (some probably didnt come back on Sunday after watching the 30 point loss Sat night)....

Miners win 117-116 (5.5-1.5 QP).

It was a fantastic game! So exciting. They showed so much determination, and the fans were really into it tonight.

Sunday's game was GREAT!!!!! I'm sure that many fans, just as I, thought that the Miners were done when falling behind by as many as 13 points in the 2nd half, but they did not give up! Even though the Patroons were shooting the lights out from 3-point land, the Miners stepped up their defense at just the right times to keep the game in check.
This game got the crowd more energized than any home game thus far in the season. Delvin Thomas deserves Kudos for his work on both offense and defense.
Great Game!!!!!!!!!!

The Miners have been struggling lately, but good bounce back win on sunday.
