Final interleague games

Post by psbf » Sun Dec 28, 2008 9:24 pm

On Friday, Las Vegas will visit Minot and Eastern Ky will host a yet-to-be named ABA opponent. But Albany's next opponent will be a league opponent.

I didn't even know Las Vegas was still around. Are they another one of the infamous "travel teams"?

They beat Arizona on 12/5 and supposedly beat the Push in LA, but there is no score so it could have been a forfeit.

I did some searching and found that neither LA or LV have websites. But I did find a brief caption in the Las Vegas Sun August edition, in a section known as 'The Elevator'

Las Vegas Aces

"That's the name of yet another minor league professional basketball team that is starting up in Las Vegas under the banner of the old ABA. I'd bet 8 inches of Darnell Hillman's Afro that this one won't make it, either."

If you go to the ABA site, and go down to the Aces, they do have a website. Not sure where you were looking... It isn't helpful, but it is a website.

Why have none of these games been posted on the CBA's website? Or on the individual teams' sites?

(Or for that matter, why hasn't there been ANY mention of inter-league play on any CBA site?)

DW, you're right, they do have something there. Replacement pages with links on them(hardly anything that I would call websites).

Mathpro, I've seen that too. I've had to get my info from the game articles.
