What would be best for the East Kentucky Miners?

Staying in the CBA or joining the PBL? Seeing how this is the first year watching the CBA, I am just wondering because I really don't know what goes on with these two leagues and I am just hoping the best for our new promising team. I was really hoping for the merger because I am sure that could only help, but now it seems that is out of question and teams are folding left and right in the CBA. IMO, the Miners might have the best organization in the CBA, other than maybe Yakama, and it would only help if they had a very good league to play in. I know you guys are all big CBA fans, but what do you think would be best for the Miners?

Personally

I would like to see the Xplosion and Miners renew our rivalry in the PBL. As of now, though, it seems as though our teams would have to do that voluntarily, since the league wants to remain seperate, from what I've read.
I've read about the progress that E.K. is making, which is good. The Xplosion are also making appearances, but their actions are never publisized, other than postings on the website.
The fact that there has been no updates on this past weekend's league meetings has me wondering.
I have no idea what is happening in Yakima either, but it seems our teams(all) may be better off in the PBL. With the way the past season finished, it makes me wonder if the League heads know what they are doing.

What teams are folding left and right? I have not been paying very close attention.

folding, how is your team doing, sk? I've not heard anything on the Sun Kings lately, other than the new interest groups.

No news on the SunKIngs for the last few weeks.

The CBA has been awful quiet in the offseason

Nubb16 -- Keep in mind that with a pending return of Albany, Pittsburgh, and
the relocated Augusta Groove...Your division, and travel pod is pretty much
intact. Could the East get at least one Michigan, Indiana or Ohio franchise
it would be nice.

The other problem is Minot, Lawton, Butte, Rio Grande Valley and Yakima all
would have travel issues right now.

CBA ! Can it be fixed?

The best thing that could happen for Pittsburgh , kentucky and Albany is to join the PBL, the league is and was a mess last year. They also maybe most importantly lack leadership, the Ricardo's of the world don't have the experience to make this happen. they seem to think the Carribean will save there bacon which is a huge pipe dream.

The CBA has one thing going for them and that is the name ! It's a shame to see the longevity go down the tube! They won't make it through the next season!

Travel issues are the least of Butte's concern right now.

Unless Butte has new owners, I don't know why they are being mentioned. Although I would like to think things have improved for them.

If travel is the only issue that Lawton/Ft. Sill has then bring on the season.

The Cavs just finished their first Dance team tryouts and are having a second tryout in June.
They are also conducting a youth Basketball camp in July.

I agree that something has to be done about how many teams have closed up shop after the season ended.
I would like to see the CBA add a few teams for the Cavs, Silverados and Skyrockets to play in their conference. Maybe get teams in Kansas, Arkansas?, Missouri or in the North/ Central Texas area would help.

As for the Title of the Thread.....I think that Kentucky should stay where they are as well as the other teams in the American Conf. Staying in the CBA can only help the league.
