Cavs vs. Explorers at Fairfield

Post by Kev the Cav » Wed Feb 20, 2008 4:03 am

The game is being played. Great Falls started the game with a 16-0 run. Cavs got going and ended up losing the first quarter 28-21.

Cavs won the second quarter 37-24 to take a 58-52 lead at the half.

I usually don't post game info while it's being played, but there is no webcast or live stats while they are playing in the high school gym in Montana. Lawton's Magic 95 is there and broadcasting the game on the radio.

Radio broadcaster was just talking about playoffs..

Standing points make all the difference.

We could possibly have home court advantage if making it to the finals.
Yes, we have to get past Yakama, but you never know.

I just got home from the game and it was a game Great Falls shoulda won. Once again the referring was suspect at best, and one of the refs musta been getting paid by Michael Ray. And why will no one T that guy up. Oklahoma grabs holds pushes and gets away with rape and then they complain after every call, and saying "And 1" all the time, even when they miss the shot. Even worse the Oklahoma players and coach were yelling at my group in the stands. Michael Ray was up at halfcourt once and I said sit down and he yelled shut up. ( I do like the way he can fire his team up and get on the refs so he gets all the calls, Good one Great Falls he was interested in becoming our coach.) All in all it was all you could ask for in a game though, a hard fought competitive contest.

Whoever does this on the Cav's bench annoys me too... they yell it on every single shot inside the 3 pt line. :infun:

From what I was hearing on the Radio the calls were going both ways. Referring across the league seems abit suspect at times.

We will find out come this weekend. Two games vs. Atlanta (Thursday and Friday) then two big ones vs. Yakama (Sunday and Monday)
