ABA Sponsors ...

I was browsing and came across this on the Chicago Throwbacks website

August 29, 2007 - The American Basketball Association have added PONY and MOUNTAIN HIGH, to our basketball family. Mountain High will be the official game socks of the American Basketball Association. Pony will provide shoes to all teams of the American Basketball Association. "We are thankful that the two companies have teamed up with our tremendous league", said owner Bellevue.

I'll believe all this crap when I see it. Both companies have no mention of these "deals". When is this insanity going to stop? The ABA has become the new NIFL.

The Lake Erie Rocker's website proudly annouced Skyline Chili as their
Newest sponsor in 2005...Unfortunatly, empty seats don't have appetites.

This August 29th announcement would be far more credible if it was on
the league website as opposed to one teams (That may or may not have
an opening tipoff this fall)...

Dare I say that the fact that one team went over the leagues head for
such a "major" announcement could be a testament for how disorganized
this league really is....

(Yes...The Rockers did have a webite...for about 3 months of the season,
most of which it just listed "postponed" games to be made up at a later date.)
