Elmi-oh-mira what a debacle

Joe’s league, once again burrowing under the lowest bar set for it...

Here’s the opening of the article. Be sure to see the video and the Facebook link from the Elmira police...
With seconds left in a one point game, the Worcester 78's were about to send Sam Longwell to the free throw line with a chance to win the game.

That's when all hell broke loose.

Video of the Dec. 16 game at the YMCA in Elmira, New York was recently released by police as they investigate an attack by one of the Elmira Eagles basketball team members against a player from the Worcester 78's.

Video shows a man, identified as the owner of the American Basketball Association-affiliated Eagles, first strikes a player from the 78's.

But then a player from the Eagles rushes the court and punches 78's guard Lee Vazquez, breaking his jaw.

I never said the ABA had the greatest numbers regarding retention of teams. OldSchoolBaller (neither did we  )

Number 22 was Craig Robertson for three games in November. Chad Dillard had that number for games played on 12/16 & 12/17 but was listed as DNP for both, and had previously played using #2 while Robertson was on the team.

Still not as violent as the Baltimore Hawks game at Miami Midnites a few years back. That had players chasing each other with folding chairs.
