Thanks, Turbo! That included article says the crowd is small with no numbers listed. But judging from the picture, it looks decent!

Bisons not playing @ Chicago ...Bisons next game is 12/11 against the CBA team East Kentucky Miners

That should be fun for Brandon Stockton. He plays on the Bisons. He was in veterans camp with the Miners last year, but suffered a stress fracture in his foot, which kept him from participating and becoming an active player for the team.
The Bisons seem to have their act together. Plus, they are in the same state, so getting to the other side of KY should be possible. I agree with all of the other posters who have mentioned it - this ABA/CBA cooperation has a huge possibility of creating a level playing field for the CBA and the ABA. If these games aren't blow outs, future investors will not see the distinction between the two leagues, and the CBA will be hurt much more than the ABA from this.
If the games are blowouts, fans aren't going to be too excited to come out during the month of December. Sure, your season ticket holders will probably be there, but having any ambitions of getting new customers during the month of December (if, in fact, games turn really ugly) may be foolish!

Changing Schedules

The schedule on the Bison's site changes almost on a daily basis. It has gotten so bad they have now added this:
*Opponents subject to change without notice
http://www.kentuckybisons.com/schedule_2008.htm
The Bisons are probably better run than most ABA teams, but they still make way too many mistakes and are burning through money way too fast. If they end up with a couple of no-shows early they will not make it.
