LOL that's VERY funny, they are/were both professional athletes looking to make a buck, Elway made more money in 1 game then Dixon will make in a lifetime. And if Chris isnt looking toward the future, which in my MHO is good in Billings, why poop where you sleep. AGAIN, just so you understand, I dont have a problem with anybody upgrading themselves, I hope you become "Indoor Genius" as your next upgrade. All I'm saying as the guy who would buy the ticket, a FAN. Thats my opinion, I dont care if you dont like it.

And just to be clear, Elway got the Broncos to 3 Super Bowls in spite of Dan Reeves, he also WON 2 more without him and beat him for one. Elway will go down as a top 20 QB in NFL history, Dan Reeves is tied for the most loses in Super Bowl History. I dont know where you want to go with that.

When it's all said and done, Chris Dixon isn't going anywhere. Bottom line..

Since Dixon lives in Oakland I think he may sign with the Central Valley Coyotes(If they join the IFL). Then he can help build a Franchise since this would be there first season in the IFL and they have not played since 2009. He would save a lot of money staying in one spot year round. He could just bring his Yearly Football Kids League and his Foundation to Fresno.

But I could see him getting a Backup QB oppourtunity with San Jose or even a starting QB job in the AFL elsewhere.

Even funnier, I surely wasnt comparing the money of indoor football to the money of the NFL. Why you would go there is laughable at best. OF COURSE ELWAY MADE MORE MONEY!!!!!!! Thanks for telling us the obvious. Now lets get back to indoor football.

Chris is looking for a new challenge, if one presents itself. If he had a deal in the NFL, we wouldnt be having this conversation on an indoor football meassage board. Indoor Football is a part-time job, and for a few, a full-time job. Lets not get that twisted.

So you actually think Elway got to all the Super Bowls on his own, but he had nothing to do with the losses in those Super Bowls. Wow, you have an interesting way to look at Elway. Obviously, a homer. So Elway gets the positive credit, while Reeves gets the negative credit. Getting to the Super Bowl is an amazing accomplishment. Many teams wish they could even get to the playoffs. The fact that the Elway lead Broncos faced the Reeves led Falcons was a great story. Elway got Reeves run out of town, and there Reeves was back in a championship game. I guess that proves that Reeves was a pretty good coach. Yes, Elway will go down as one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game, but Reeves still holds favor in the coaching world as well. I am not sure where you went with this either.

I dont think anyone on this board cares who likes whose opinion. So your argument is no different. I also wish you the best at becoming LewInColorado!!!!!!! :D

Good luck Chris, I bet the FANS will still buy tickets wherever you end up..........

After Looking at the Article again and reading your comments. A few thoughts arrived in my head. This cant be about money because if he stays in the IFL ($200 a game)or to the Arena League ($400 a game). He Lives in billings Full-time and goes back and forth to california to visit his oldest son. In order for him to get the bigger bucks in the Arena league he will have to prove himself. So a few differen thoughts arrived after reading somethings. I do agree it looks like he is searching for a new challenge. Two could things be going wrong internally in billings. Is there something there that is pushing hime to this decision. If an owner or coach wanted to get rid of a player they can make that move whenever they want to. its the player who has to reform himself into what they want him to be in order to stay. Well its the off season and its the time that the player can decide were he wants to be. This is the time he can decide what situation is best for him. Also i seen the words retirement in the article. Could he be serious. I think if he doesnt get the AFL shot i think he might just be done with the IFL

Chris has been a great leader and role model not just for the team but for the community.

Elway went out after winning back to back titles. Why cant he?

to me it reeks of ego. Chris is used to winning, he won't do that anywhere except Billings, Sioux Falls, or Omaha, and the latter two have franchise QB's supposedly returning in 2011. It's UFL/AFL or Billings for CD5, let's not pretend it's anything else.
