Much respect for Wyoming coaches, players and fans....No matter the outcome, both teams win by getting out of this Wish-We-Were-Pop-Warner-League teams/league.

48-34 Gueard after WYO lead 20-19---NO OTHER GAME IN NIFL THIS YEAR OFFERED THIS KIND OF PARITY..

It was kind of a roller coaster game... we jump out to a big lead, then Wyoming rallies and goes in front, then we pull away and win. No thrilling finish, but an entertaining game nonetheless. Being back at the Crown for a Guard game was really nice. It was weird not sitting in my usual front row seats (first time in 30-some football games at the Crown that I haven't done that), but I still had a great time. It's just nice to know that the dark days of the NIFL are over. Next season, it's on to an organized, no-BS league with almost 20 teams, which means lots of competition. I can hardly wait... you know I'll be at every game if I can. :)

Big congrads to both teams for a great year. Congrads to the Guard for an undefeated season! On to the AIFA.
indoor fan, where are you? No insults? No talk of next weeks big contest in SD? Come on, I need some laughs.

What exactly are the Guard Champs of? Not the NIFL. That's all that I'm concerned with. This game was for absolutly nothing at all. no titles won. Please tell me what the Guard are champs of? Hahahah

I'm not even a SD fan. I just wanted to make sure that neither the Guard nor the Cavs won the NIFL title and that happened? If there is no 2007 NIFL Champion, I can live with that.

BTW..I'm out of here....the 2007 NIFL season is done without a championship game. San Diego ends the season with the best record. Conrgrats and good luck next year.

Indoor Fan - How can you say that SD has the best record? I believe Wyoming beat them, so that would give them one loss and Fayetteville an undefeated season. You just keep showing your true colors and attention to detail.

Guard Fans - great game tonight. You guys were the better team tonight. It was a fun game to watch on tv, I am sure that it was great at the Crown. A big thanks to both owners for making the tv thing happen. What a great way for these two teams to end the season without the blessing of the NIFL.

Maybe the NIFL championship game will be televised next week, who will be playing, maybe Indoor Fan will be the announcer and can continue his/her rhetoric about the NIFL. Additionally, CS & CG will be on hand to flip the coin and bring in the game ball (can someone say standing ovation from the fans of the NIFL).

Indoor Fan - BTW, I know that all of us can sleep a little easier knowing that you can "live with that" regarding the lack of NIFL championship.

It was on TV for you guys? That's awesome... we didn't get that luxury last season. :(

Well, the independents named it the Indoor Football League Championship so to answer your question, you can call it the IFL Champs or the Independent League Champs--either way, these two are better than any teams the NIFL ever had...

HAHAHA

so....... If a group of independent teams played a completely different schedule with no affiliations... and then 2 teams said.. hey lets play and one of us will be called champions.........

Sorry...... It is just a self glorifying exhibition game by 2 good teams that deserved better........ and you guard fans and cav fans can spin it any way you want..... But it is what it is.........

We are all glad that you broke away from the NIFL, now die league die..... But come on..... So we could also say that the SD/ Bmt game was the NIFL championship game and SD won.. since it was the last game that 2 teams that are still actually affiliated with that league played each other?
