Nice, work out some sort of King's Island package for the players and you've got yourself the hottest team around. Mason Marshals rolls off the tongue too...
Okay so where are they going to play in Mason? Are they going to play outside? Are they going to play on top of The Beast roller coaster at Kings Island?

THERE IS NO FACILITY TO HOUSE THIS TEAM IN MASON!

I think they're playing at that indoor soccer facility that the Dayton Bulldogs tried to finish their season at (and flopped)

FYI, the Bulldogs never even signed a contract to play there before they announced.

For those who didn't follow the NIFL or Bulldogs last year, the team did not play in that facility after they announced the move. They just stopped playing home games.

Regardless of where they are going to play, I think they missed the boat of announcing they were going to play while the af2 rumors were just that, this would have allowed them to have some decent press of what they were doing. Now that af2 has announced their intentions the Marshals could be in some trouble.

The rumor in the AF2 circles is that Carson Palmer is one of the prospective owners that was pushing to bring the AF2 to Cincinnati.

the reason is...

if your city of cincy would you want a team in the troublesome NIFL occupying your main arena or would you want a team lead by successful major sports stars of your city?

sam adams isnt the big name here, he is just the ringleader.....its ken griffey jr., rudi johnson, and TJ houshmandzadeh are the names that will draw a crowd.

if these players actively make appearances and roam around the stands during games and are very fan friendly the cincy team should have no problem drawing 5k to every game if not more.

rumor is sam wants a name similar to the bengals...tigers?

or does he want the name Marshalls due to being in the press so much, maybe not for the best reasons but with new ownership will be a big plus, If this group are the main players, THIS A2 team will draw the people to the Us bank arena. Hey parsons what up?
