HP Patterson and Rapid City

Post by sportsmgrjay » Wed May 03, 2006 6:18 pm

Is it true that HP and Howard Niel are the same persons? After what he did in Cincy last yr and That woman Gave him that franchise to have. She knew he committed fraud and is Still wanted by the FBI, How do other owners feel now that the cat is out of the bag. Still trust the league president. Break away at the end of the season when you can. Waiting for the news of this Scam to get out to the press in rapid city and they go after shiver for putting HP back in Business. with her KNOWING it was him. or was it.

Yup, same guy. Don't look real good right now (next time maybe a face-to-face interview of the prospective owner should happen.)

This league (NIFL) is like a frickin' cockroach. You could throw a nuclear bomb at it and it would still survive

So I'd rather spend a quarter of an ABA franchise to repair my car, as opposed to spending a franchise and a half to get a new car that might have some planned obsolescence that causes it to break down 5 days after the end of the warranty period.

Let's analyze this.....A person can meet with the President of the league 3 different times using 3 different names and nobody smells a rodent? How much collateral damage must exist before somebody puts a whoa to his giddyup! C'mon people! this is just crap!

I have to believe that HP PATTERSON/HOWARD NEIL/A-HOLE was sleeping with CS!!! There is no doubt about it!!!

How else could someone get away with this for the 3rd time. The commish has to be in on these scams!!!!

Is there a NIFL executive board??????

So, if CS is the NIFL...........

Does this mean that the league is as good as done?

Are other teams looking to bail to other leagues? Any news there?

It seems that it is time to start looking for other options...especially if the teams aren't sure about the league's future.

Just to open a basic Dunkin Donuts franchise, you have to have a 1.5 million net worth, and $750K in liquid assets. They require that so that they ensure new franchises don't close due to being underfunded. It generates a bad reputation for the company if that happens a lot.

Then again, a local Dunkin Donuts shop closing down in your average strip mall doesn't taint the entire city for donut and coffee products. But these indoor football teams folding do have such an effect on the entire city regarding indoor football. Think Dayton would ever be a good place to start another indoor franchise soon?

If the other owners in the NIFL aren't going to put the pressure on CS to qualify new NIFL franchises, then the other indoor leagues should collectively take legal action against the NIFL for the damage they are doing to the indoor football market. It's not in their best interests to assume that since they are a different league they are isolated from the market effects of the NIFL's bad business practices.

The Capture of HP Patterson

Post by sportsmgrjay » Wed May 03, 2006 8:54 pm

Just spoke with reporter from Rapid City, FBI thought they had HP last night in Arkansas but leave it to HP to elude athorities before they could move in. Word has it he is making his way back to shiver in La. But really they did try to get him last night. There is a 25,000.00$ reward leading to the arrest of HP. Contact FBI field office or local police if you have any info on his whereabouts. If you do see him call Cincy office.

Did I not read that the Aces got their team with everything being handled over the phone? Even if true, would you not recognize that the "new" owner's voice seemed very similar to two past owners that had scamed people just last season? Did he not attend any owners meetings? Dead give away should be when the owner's picture is not on the team site. Only one person in the NIFl has the power to approve this type deal.

Good point about having REAL money. Sadly this league has more holes than the average Dunkin Donut shop.
