I have several ideas for expansion teams in 2017. One is the Colorado blizzard, one is the Sacramento silverhawks, and one is the Vancouver bone crushers. What do you think of these ideas.

For the foreseeable future, all the AFL will be able to do is fight to keep existing teams and start new teams to replace those that fold. There won't be much expansion.

I don't have a newsletter. The ideas come from my own head.

I think what many here would say is that while it is fun to discuss potential team names, it really all starts with ownership.

HA!

Personally, I like the idea of starting a reality show where groups in prospective cities have to raise the $$ to pay the expansion fee AND organize an Amish barn-raising style arena construction involving prospective fans (including random attacks by upset construction trade unions) leading to a far better chance to keep the money the arena generates. Makeup!
