AIFL to go to the PIFL?

Post by BarbaraPatterson » Fri Sep 29, 2006 6:09 pm

Rumor has it the AIFL will close up shop this year, and become part of the PIFL. (note how I state RUMOR)

Nearly half a million is a helluva hit and has been posted on other threads with respect to NIFL litigatory problems, who will ante up here. I know Andrew doesn't have half a million. Will owners be subjegated to the tab. And what's this about the PIFL...they don't exist, are Andrew Mink and Morris goign to try to sell the league itself. Won't owners have some say in where they go....Tupelo, Danville and Springfield in particuar for example might be good fit for the proposed Ultimate, it it ever happens. Some of the Pa teams might be better suited for GLIFL, though that is seven on seven...

To be a part of nothing, you pay half of something. If something doesn't work out, you have nothing to worry about. Even if the entire league fails, half of the costs of something amounts to nothing. This league could be something or it could be nothing. That is saying something, hope this helps . . .

I think the AIFL believes incorrectly, that by changing their name to the AIFA, that they will not be liable for the debt created by the AIFL. From what I've heard the debt is nearly $600,000
