Dittman has a pretty long history in the indoor game. He's outlasted several leagues and arenafootball2's attempt to wrest the market. Maybe he's finally tapped out.

It looks like this time he's really tapped out, Chad was like a tornado when he first came into the sport but the game(business) of football changed with the economy and he did not, while always operating on a shoe string budget he made it through but not this time. The Corpus market can support a small budget team and probably will again but it won't be Chad Dittman any more, he gave it a good run even with the problems he has had over the years, Chad have a cold one wherever you are simply release a statement and ride out let the sun hit your backside and never to be heard from again.

Intense football league, I've never known him to be in the NIFL he cut his teeth with the original Odessa team developed by he and the Texas Revolution current GM. Time waits for no one and as stated in other comments on this it appears he's done......!

If memory serves, Dittman's team would have been in the NIFL for a year.

And now the West Michigan at Chicago game for this weekend is cancelled, being called a forfeit (in West Michigan's favor) on the Ironmen FB page.

The heck?

The league is limping to a finish. Might be lucky to have enough teams to do the playoffs.

A repeat of the final NIFL season with a DIY championship game?

The Blitz are for sale, per their website.

Then again, aren't we all?
