AIF Teams
AIF Teams
Sorry everyone, I have not posted to the OSC Boards in quite some time.
I am excited for the AIF, however am feeling a sense of NIFL-2007 right now with a rapid expansion of teams
I assume all these teams have the finances to support a quick turnaround, 12 or 14 game schedule and the backing of their home facility to support a 6 or 7 home game with possible playoffs, and have their vendors, insurance, turf, etc... all this in order?
I am concerned that a great idea is going to be met with a lot of foreits and suspension of teams schedules with forfeit wins or "travel teams" brought in...

In logic it is a fundamental law- that the law of contradiction ,that a statement of non- contradiction is that a statement and its denial cannot both be true at the same time. I'm just saying

LA teams
Would be shocked if LA Cottonmouths or the Northshore Gators ever field team. Been told no equipment, turf, dashers, etc and season is less than two months away. Plus only one tryout between them. About 40 players showed for Cottonmouths.

They are not new in general. They were one of the teams that played in the X-League the last couple seasons. Some X-League teams came over this season.
They played in the Bill Harris Arena which is a much smaller arena than the BJCC.
Bill Harris 6,000
Legacy Arena (BJCC) 19,000
Indoor football has been played in the BJCC before but by an Arena 2 team. The Alabama Steeldogs played there from 2000-2007

Well they were in the AIF in 2015 and then moved to a "new" CIFL which never announced more than 3 or 4 teams and that league just died..... SO... Saginaw rejoined the AIF, They were on the original schedule for the 2016 season and then like you said... POOF... gone.. Supposedly because of the instability of the AIF... (no kidding)... and (another supposedly) they (Saginaw) will return somewhere for the 2017 season... While it's not the 2007 NIFL... (that'd be hard to match)... The AIF is definitely in a distant 3rd behind the CIF and IFL..
Has anyone heard what happened to the Saginaw Sting? From the outside, they've just fizzled into thin air.
