D-League???
the NBA-D league is the top flight professional league below the NBA.
There are a lot of call ups and rehabs similar to AAA in baseball.

You can not seriously compare the ASI to the D-League
D-League is exactly what it is... Developmental League!

I attended the game, Baltimore won 56-46. I enjoyed the event. The Panthers are not a bad team though, I think they had a better QB than Baltimore, he made a few decent TD throws. The game wasn't bad overall, I hope the Mariners get some new unis, they where wearing a mixed bag of previous Mariners unis. The Panthers in fact if you looked closely where wearing old Harrisburg Stampede garb. They did treat it like a "preseason game" though, playing everyone and they didnt have any good merchandise or anything like that yet, you could buy a ball for $25 or $15 t shirts that weren't anything special, and they had a cheerleading squad doing their thing. But I am sure they where happy with the crowd, I'd like to find attendence numbers, but I'd have to say there had to be at least 2,000 fans there, maybe more, many wearing old Mariners gear.

Erie played ASI panthers as a fill in team and
obliterated them 66 -13
Erie missing 2 starters as they were at separate CFL try-outs.
