The Gardens Ice House, the same venue used last season by the Maryland Reapers.

Hopefully this team is less of a joke than the Maryland Reapers.
The Hampton Crusaders game must be an exhibition game. The Stampede have 9 games on their schedule, the league is only playing an eight game schedule. Just a guess on my part.
The West Virginia Badgers will play three away games and one "home" game at York Ice Arena. The Washington Eagles will play the Virginia Crusaders instead of the West Virginia Badgers. The Crusaders will also play York and Harrisburg this year.

The article says they will play just two exhibition games. April 6th verses Harrisburg and May 25th verses the York Capitals
But the Capitals are playing the Badgers on the 24th according to their web site and the leagues web site.
The Eagles just stated that they have a 5th home game verses the Crusaders on May 25th.
I think the writer mixed up the teams, he also called the league by its old name, the American Indoor Football League and later just used the initials AIFL.

So as far as I can tell the current state of the AIF is this:

Six teams were originally scheduled to play, one, Roc City is already out.
West Virginia appears to have turned into a travel team, no longer has a website and is advertising for a gm on their facebook page. Doesn't look good for the Badgers.Replacement teams are being sought to fill holes in the schedule. If I were to guess I would say that Washington will not make it through the season and that only three teams will make it through the entire season, Harrisburg,Cape Fear and York. Looks like another banner year for the AIF.

Here's the deal

Come see us play. Its going to be a great time. We don't know what the name of the team is. That will be revealed on the day of the game. You really love surprises don't you? Buy your tickets now for date and time TBA. Get there early to find a seat, we're not sure of the venue but you'll have fun. We expect a moss pit experience for the best seats.
See you there & support your local team with out of town ownership that may change its name and play in another town next home game.
Thank you
