Hello Friends. One of Spiro T. Agnew's Nattering Nabobs of Negativism here.
Every year, we seem to go through one of these. Somebody disparages a new team in a league with a less-than-stellar reputation. Then owner, or newbie fan, gets all defensive.

I wish the owners or newbies would be winning these arguments, but sadly, history has been on the side of us "haters."
The solution is simple. Have your spam in a can. That means have the money on hand to finish the season, pay your players, pay your venue rent, pay your vendors and pay all your bills. If you can do that, the "haters" will probably turn into supporters. (And you might make your team more desirable to a better league).
