Members on the AIFA message boards are saying that the Canton Legends have folded as of Friday. One of the members said he was told by Mr. Morris himself.

Think it could be the former owners of the Marion Mayhem? They sold the team this year after operating it since '06. I know they are from the Canton / Akron area. And the rumor was that they really wanted to get a team going (in the CIFL) closer to their homes. Could it be . . . Canton Legends in the CIFL in 2010?

The CIFL rumor isn't a new one. That's been floating around for a few years now. Not sure M&M would just go for somebody buying the team and jumping leagus. I just hope there is football in Canton next season.
