I'm sad to see the CIFL go, but it's nice to have the number of leagues reduced. I think if the CIF and IFL could get along, their regional foot print would fix nicely together.
Their geographic footprint works, but IFL requires bigger budgets than the CIF. I don't know if the CIF will take the CPIFL pay scale with them, but it started at $50 a game.

True, the CIFL used to be good once. It's a shame to see it go out this way.
For those not reading the other league sections, Saginaw is now with the AIF and Marion is with the X-League. Erie will be announced for the PIFL on Monday.
Chicago had gone to the X-League though that partnership may be retracted per comments from both sides on Indoor Football Forum's Facebook.

The CIFL continues to dissolve. The Facebook page for the CIFL has gone into thin air. Surprised this actually happened as fast as it did. I just assumed that this group was just going to continue to exist and being unadjusted like their website and Twitter. It seems like that the CIFL or whoever is in charge of it remaining parts has finally doing something right.
Who's out?
Everyone
Actually sorry to see the league go away. Having met several of the top tier
people involved, I knew they were sincere and honest.
Its a real shame things didn't work out. There were several good teams
but it was the Detroit, Lexington and Port Huron type owners that scuttled
the hard work of others.
The CIFL didn't do their homework and let the wrong people in.
