2011 schedule announced
2011 schedule announced
And it looks like 2011 will be much like 2010, except with different names.
Six teams, one a traveling team, 10 game season, four teams make the playoffs. So the miniature triumph of getting the Silverbacks into a stadium of their own is muted by the "Indianapolis" travel team. Oops.

Not playing in Indy. They're a road team only.

It could almost be the Indiana Enforcers. Many that will try out
are from the minor league (outdoor) Indianapolis Tornadoes &
the inactive (CIFL) Fort Wayne Firehawks.. A great question for
the league would be, if the Indy team makes the playoffs,
would it host a game in Indy or Fort Wayne or continue to
play on the road?

The Enforcers appear to be operated by the Indianapolis Stampede, not the Tornadoes. At least indyenforcers.com is registered with a contact e-mail of indystampede@yahoo.com. Not to say Tornado players couldn't end up on the Enforcers.
As for the playoffs, has there been another travel team as successful as last year's Silverbacks (4-6, with one of those wins a forfeit)?
Not playing in Indy. They're a road team only.
Teams like this don't fare well for a season. On many occasions, I've seen teams like this not win ONE game at all. Looks like the odds are against the Enforcers, but good luck to them!!

From what we're hearing, this team is debuting a year early.
The plan all along was to have a team in Indy for 2012. But,
with the hiatus of Fort Wayne, the loss of Rockford & Wisconsin
and the belly up in West Michigan, it forced the league to start
the Indy franchise a year early, with all games on the road this year.
Look for Indy to have a home next year, the return of Fort Wayne, a
new team in Evansville and a rebirth of K-zoo and Ohio Valley.
