3 months later and the website address is still the same -

http://www.chicagocardinalsfootball.com

Looks like the name may change from last season but the same complete lack of effort is there from management.

Sadly, that's not even the worst effort going on.

I keep hearing about how Grand Rapids is going to have a CIFL team called the Fury, and at one point there was even a "website" up (term being used in very loose fashion as the site was nothing more than a signup for a tryout), but the "website" has now been down for over a week.

There will be no teams in Grand Rapids, Fort Wayne, Madison or Rockford,
in 2011 for the CIFL. I'm understanding the effort in Chicago is barely standing.
If Fort Wayne gets a new investor, in 2012, they may be looking at other leagues.

I think his long range plan is for 12-16 teams. But, not gonna
happen in 2011. 5 or 6 at best. Rumors are flying about Grand Rapids
and Toledo for this year, but I just can't see it in this short time frame.
Pretty sure he's got commitments from 2 to 4 franchises for 2012.

Instead of a name change they should have a personnel change.....but I guess i will cheer for them since the Wolfpack are done :(

2 days before the season opener - the website has no roster, no ticket information, and lists no sponsors. I'm sorry but this is comical. I'm sure it is no coincidence that their first home game isn't until April 9 and they have 3 straight bye weeks after Saturday.
