Hewitt's article has no basis

Regarding Mr. Hewitts article aligning press releases with media coverage
to form a strength of league scenario, is utter nonsense. It's true that
except for Cincy & Chicago, all other markets are small. So press coverage
lacks for them anyway. The strength of the league should be weighed by
the performance of the team on the field and the turn-style. This years
6 franchises are putting their money where it belongs. The press will
pickup on the progress of each depending on their success, if they are
any kind of media outlet at all. That is interesting and all that Mr. Hewitt,
but not relevant...

Those articles might be interesting but I couldn't get past the horrendous grammar and lack of proofreading in that first one. If he don't care about putting a quality effort out there why should we?

So, I don't take the content too serious, much like most of the posts here on this board... which begs the question, "Why aren't those collections of stories in a thread on the message board instead?" Then there's no perceived requirement for a writer to follow standard journalistic expectations.

Simply dismiss the article and go about your business.

Thanks for the inspiration, dan. I've spent a little time in your neck
of the woods. I appreciate your opinion here. Oh and FTR,
For the most part, we've heard good things about you.
We will carry on.
