Oh I agree with you TRUTH, I love the 7 on 7 game. But I think to make the CIFL
more attractive to other markets, they almost have to go to the 8 man game. I
really think Jeff & Eric are looking down the road at what's best for the league.
As much as I'd love to see the 7 man game stay, I can understand the thinking
behind the change. And FYI, Pretty sure it's not a rumor.

the rest of the CIFL should just merge with the AIFA and make that bigger Cuz right now the IFL is huge and AF1 is gettin there aswell.

Not gonna happen this year, as we're awaiting results from
the first day of league meetings in Ft.Wayne. But with the
move to the 8 man game, you could see a CIFL/AIFA or SIFL
merger in 2011. I agree with you on the expansion of the IFL,
but it looks like AF1 may be a bust and a half, so far.

yea i figure not this year but that is great to hear that they want to play a 8 man game now. AF1 is on my question list if they every will go off they havent been doing anything to show that it will. Im really amazed how the UFl merged into the IFL and how strong an huge it has gotten from last year.

Yes it has. I wonder if the IFL may not be growing too fast.
If they can do alot of regional play in the regular season and
then break off into conferences for playoffs, that'll keep the
travel cost down. If the IFL or AF1 becomes the top tier indoor
game, they'll need leagues like the AIFA, CIFL, and SIFL as
support leagues. This all may be rounding into a nice picture.
Lets just hope the economy doesn't break it down prematurely..
