With an eye on expansion, the National Lacrosse League has put Ottawa back on the radar by scheduling an exhibition game at TD Place on Saturday night.

While no ownership group has been publicly identified, NLL commissioner George Daniel said that Saturday’s game between the Toronto Rock and defending champion Saskatchewan Rush will be “viewed as a barometer for what the potential interest is from fans.”

3200 last night in Ottawa for Rush-Rock. Besides Ottawa, the NLL may want to look at Winnipeg and Hamilton.
