After sitting out the 2008 season, the Arizona Sting ownership decided not to continue on and the players have been dispersed. The expansion Boston Blazers will play in 2009 after also sitting out the 2008 season.

The situation in Phoenix is clear, but on a note about bad business, The sting have not even sent official notice to their season ticket holders.
