No, I fully agree with ca. It's a great thing for the NoL that they got rid of all the teams who caused most of that pesky travel to be a required part of business. They're already that much closer to the blessed no-travel nirvana now, and if the league gets any smaller yet, they'll soon be there completely!

Perhaps the NoL can then adapt the wildly successful model of the NY State League and have a whole bunch of "franchises" compete out of one ballpark...

Joliet has approved the sale and lease agreement. Rent down to 150K. Team to install field turf. Looks like a go for the Frontier League. Now I hope that Rockford can come to some agreement with the FL instead of continuing with the doomed NAL fiasco.

As for the Ehrenreich clubs... RIP. May something worthwhile spring from the ashes.
