While the Chico E-R congratulated the Outlaws on winning the GBL Championship, they are questioning the future of the GBL.

Interesting article. Glad I am not the only one that can count. I think the attendance may be closer to 1500 avg per game. As for the GBL, they are like other Indy baseball, 2+2+? = whatever # we can think of. Good year for Outlaws but I think a move is in their future.

Not even close
Sorry, but the Outlaws didn't come anywhere close to averaging 1,500 fans. Hell, 1,500 fans is considered a "sellout" in their world! They averaged, in REAL FANS (not the fantasy ones they would count in their attendance figures), closer to 700 per game, tops.

Pro sports pads attendance. That's a given.
But the degree to which the GBL pads is laughable.
I'd love to see the League truly restructured, with some MLB participation (ala the new Australian League) and run like an indy farm league.
I'd like Kaval and Outcalt completely out of the picture.
I'd also like an Aston Martin Rapide.

Well, you are halfway there. Kaval's gone to MLS's San Jose Earthquakes.
