They may be counting them, but officially this claim would be false based upon the Stockade not being an official member, based upon the league's own operating standard or bi-laws. They certainly did not pay that overblown franchise fee, nor line of credit extended the list could go on.

So they can place them in the standings, but that does not make them based upon how they got on the schedule for this season a full member, the games are exhibitions and as such under what the legal meaning would be based around the games don't officially count if challenged.

I'm not saying they can't play but the people attending should know its a exhibition. you'll notice in soccer its a friendly notifying those attending, they may see a very entertaining game but its an exhibition.

My reference on the 40 home game situation, is based upon info. from the local news in that area.

Good win for the Stockade, can they get 10 only 7 more

The attendance numbers are about right for Airhogs 800 is about where they have been for some time now, remember Cleburne inflated numbers are coming from paper attendance the city has 800 free giveaway tickets attached to the lease agreement, the attendance number for paid is probably around 300, they have had two free give away nights, neither of those dates did they offer more than 500 items and those items one being a whistle the other the chickfila cow that had nothing on them promoting the team only 250 of those were offered.

If you are really averaging over 1,000 paid customers and a real sponsor the norm would fall around that 1,000 mark because those would be paid for tickets driving a windfall in the budget, you can walk into any chickfila and buy the cow they gave away because again it had nothing written on it related to the railroaders, as the late Dennis Green once said (they are who we thought they were)

2,215 railroaders claim attended Friday game of 13-1 loss  problem is they forgot we live in a video world.

The replay video from the game verses wingnuts easily shows this is another Washington mall crowd head count, there clearly is less than 1000 attending the game oh wait they sold 2,215 tickets and nobody went to the game, its just too funny look for yourself on the AA league site in game replay there is no no way they get to 2,000, Plenty of very very empty seats.

Yes sir in the era of video its pretty difficult to lie about attendance numbers, but they at least gave it the old college try, problem is that try is from a era well in the review.

Up date from July 1st game- they lied again simply why ? the posted attendance 2,100 plus a few but hit the game replay and you'll find empty seats appears less than probably 800, and they appear to be more concerned about getting people to vote for an imaginary award called best minor league stadium than figuring out how to actually get butts in the stands.

Using the words of you know who (Sad) :) and did any one notice the airhogs posted attendance of 650
the amount of red ink that club has can't possibly be offset, as being smart.

This posting offers a true reading of paper attendance, but little cash flow leading to RED INK in large amounts

(Reposting from earlier, we need more votes!)

Who wants free seats to tonight's Cleburne Railroaders game? Go to the ticket window, take your phone with you, and vote for the depot on the link below. Show them at the ticket window that you voted and you get free seats to Sunday's game. It's that easy, and free!!!

AA shows attendance for this game at 2,121 that's not correct either but whatever the number was it was a papered attendance and very fake.

This last minute give away was in response to no one buying tickets to that game yesterday, it wasn't a week in advance promotion, this is a absolute no no in the business of sports unless it is offset by a smart planned event, this takes any value the public may have had completely away from organization, because moving forward the question will be why would you pay when they are desperate for any one to come out. Dead Team walking

Just as worrisome as the attendance numbers is the lack of competitive balance in the AA South. If things keep up, Wichita is going to win the division by about 25 games. Salina is Salina. The AirHogs are about where they were last year. Cleburne started out OK, but they seem to be in free fall. As bad as their paid attendance is, people won't even take free tickets if the team is that bad (especially at home). Wichita just beat up on them at their place.
Right now, the entire Central Division is over .500 while two teams in the North are over .500, one is at .500 and one is just a couple of games under .500.
It would be nice to see both Sioux City and Sioux Falls to get their attendance average at least over 2,000. They are both small markets, but OTOH, there isn't much to do there in the summer.

Melissa M. Gotta love free baseball! Congrats on winning the series y'all!
22 hrs RR Facebook page

This completely leaves the team ticket with no value, its not the model they claim to operate under, so moving forward they have no where to go since they have consistently gave away a minimum of 1,000 tickets each game in order to fake a level of success in this first and quite possibly only season, the team is operating completely in the red and will lose well over 1 million in this season, even though the city has propped them up with free stadium rent.

The airhogs have started faking attendance numbers too, they suddenly went from 650, to 2100 yeah right all of sudden the people just had to see a losing team play some ball.

Not only can they not win on the field, or in the attendance regarding real numbers going to the games, but when they see a career minor league talent they don't know what it is either.

CLEBURNE, Texas -- The Cleburne Railroaders want to congratulate former C Shawn Zarraga on his signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization.

Zarraga, who was set to rejoin the Railroaders after he was released last week, has now joined the team’s Double-A affiliate Tulsa Drillers.

He's signed after they release him and they want to celebrate his signing as being something they contributed to :-?

(Jay Mutum) First off Congrats to Shawn. I have seen in play a few times while in Dodgers Org. Whats odd its showing him being released by your club on July 5th.

The AirHogs are starting to catch up to Cleburne. BTW, Wichita just approved a new stadium, so the Wingnuts may only be around another year or two.
