Feb 5th article in the McAllen Monitor-the city might sign over the stadium to the University of Texas system
Today I was told that the stadium was indeed signed over, if true---
University of Texas = no alcohol
no alcohol= no baseball
To my knowledge there has never been a way around this problem in Texas
Don't put the Thunder jerseys in storage yet

And that will stick a fork in the UBL. Unless there really is two magical teams waiting in the wings, they're down to 3 teams, and 3 teams is a no go.

Pilot, there will be no magical teams
But don't stick a fork in them yet
Three teams with stadium and a travel team
Ft Worth-San Angelo-Rio Grande and the Texas Stars

And when Ft Worth stiffs a couple vendors again and is forced into bankruptcy then what? Two travel teams?

A schedule is out?
No Texas Stars but a team named Mexico Paisanos based in Harlingen
Will the Paisanos play home games when the Whitewings are on the road?
This piece of a schedule creates as many questions as answers

So they put it together. Now they need to make it through the season. With only 3 teams and a travel team. That leaves no buffer in the event someone goes under. Good luck to them.

The Mexico Paisanos are out, but the Brownsville Charros are in
