Anyone have a fork !

Its never good to see a league go away but signs point to this one not being such a bad thing, yes even here the teams who put such effort to give players the opportunity to play should continue to do just that, but to do it within a league that has nothing to hold itself together with not even duck tape will fix it.

The teams should as i stated continue but may have to go it indy style which at this level isn't a bad thing just schedule some quality teams and cut the non-sense 80 game schedule out, make the season short after all its hot in Texas during the summer and no longer do fans enjoy sitting out in the heat to watch a game.

While I never want to dump on someone's failure ,because it is very good to see anyone at least try.

But then there is this little thing called in over your head which in this case is clearly what happened.

Newspaper article states that venders are fuming because of none payment a baseball vendor owed $40,000.00 for baseballs, and to top that payments are behind on the stadium which cost $5 million after taxes and such.

So guess what's next in Fort Worth very little support will be fore coming in any type of ticket sales for this season .

Any team/league that doesn't pay for their baseballs and then agrees to 20 monthly payments and then defaults, has no business operating...

The owner keeps saying his cash balance is good, but he can't pay vendors, but his cash balance is good, but he can't pay his staff, but his cash balance is good.
Is this guy headed for the ABA?

Yes, "cash balance" can't be in good standing if people haven't been paid. They just stall and say "we're working on it" but these guys have done this for years. Anyone can look up articles and see where they have done this to investors, fans, players, and employees. Hard to believe but they've made things worse in FtW in the last year. And the baseballs tab is a small drop in the accounts payable bucket in FtW alone. They will just use another vendor each year. Rumor has it that they were supposed to assume debts from team purchase last year, but they're telling everyone it's on the old regime. Most of the front office didn't even stay a full season to year because they didn't like the dirty business and lack of ethics. What a mess, and I'm sure more articles will come out betwen now and season start.
