Baton rouge kingfish

Hey, i was just wondering, what was the reasons the kingfish left br? I know it was a while ago, but i was young when i went to all the games, and never really understood what happened. From what i can remember, attendance was pretty good for the most part untill the end. thanks.

the Kingfish still exist.... just in Victoria as the Salmon Kings and have since 2004; economic factors along w/ attendance.......
