What is up! I love hockey but noone can watch it down here. I had to go to sports bars to watch many of the NHL games because local tv just won't air the games. Now they are going to take away my only means of watching live hockey! I love the ice pilots. This is very Disappointing. What am I going to do with my winters now? Watch crappy movies? I thought the ice pilots had a good fan base in pensacola. First Mobile lost their team (i didn't care for the mystics though) and now pensacola loses theirs. I can't watch basketball or football. Way to boring. I need the fast pace action of hockey. I NEED THE ICE PILOTS!!!!

I say they should go back...But rework their contract and get rid of that "exclusivity clause" (if it isn't gone already)...Which, as you can tell, is much less extreme than my previous opinion.

I hate to say it but this is the best thing for Pensacola hockey. We get rid of our main problem: Mario Forgione. He didn't want his team here and we didn't want him here. Now he loses his team and we lose our team but at least we got rid of him. Word has it that the SPHL will becoing to Pensacola next season. If you want to blame someone and ***** out someone, I suggest trying to find Mario's e-mail. He'll probably just laugh and throw it in his fire place.

While it is always sorry to see a minor hockey team fold, their owner was a first rate, first class jerk. New ownership would be nice but the best news is up here in Augusta we got their coach!!!!! Go Lynx!!!!!
