You know dude, you need to get a life. Replying to post's from years past..
Whatta jerk. I don't see how you are the freaken expert anyway. If you're
from Elmira, you call Ft.Wayne a Dumpster Fire? I'm not a big Franke fan
myself, but don't kick the great fans of Fort Wayne. There are major problems
in minor league hockey in this country. There will be changes coming. But since
you are the freaken expert from the scuz row Elmira (that Ft.Wayne owned)
Why don't you go kick a puppy or steal a kids candy? Forcrisakes, do something
else with your time!!! You are complete boobage!!

Have fun winning in the worst league in hockey. Theres no competition, its like a MLB team or an NFL Team dropping down to the closest other league and playing, unfair grounds. Your playing against teams like Flint who really have no reason to keep their doors open. I'm sorry the board never talks on a message board, its not my fault. It's more interesting to hear rumors then look at terrible threads that read "Port Huron vs Kalazmazoo" or whatever, I mean really? Just look on the league site at the box score...it's NOT news.

Sorry Paul. I just don't GET this guy. The fans of Fort Wayne can't
help who the owners are. Bottom line: it must be working, drawing
over 8000 butts per home game. I somewhat agree that some day
the "I" may tank. And as I've stated before, the Franke boys will
have to suck it up, swallow their pride and play union hockey..
The city will not let the franchise go doorment. If the brothers are
too embarrassed to make the move, they'll sell the team.
I don't think this guy is entirely wrong, I just don't care for his tactics.

Komets leaving? No way.

I'm glad to hear that the Frankes would keep the team around even if the IHL tanks--they are a team that the community rallies around which contributes to their success. Cool video of Chwedoruck talking about the Komets success and how they are competing for first in the IHL on Comcast Local On Demand if you have it. http://watchindiana.tv/2010/04/komets-p ... n-the-ihl/

IHL and CHL have come to a merger much the same way the original IHL and AHL did in 2001, the 7 remaining IHL teams will join the Central Hockey League for 2010-11.... it will be under the banner of the Central Hockey League.

Actually, it looks like only 4 IHL franchises are making the move to the CHL -- which might be why the IHL needed to make this move. Remember, a league can't get visas unless it has 6 teams.

According to a report in Quad City's local paper, Flint and Port Huron are not part of the merger.

So Ft. Wayne, Bloomington, Quad City, and Dayton are going to the CHL, if the report is right, possibly along with a return to the Family Arena in St. Charles, MO.
