Port Huron Gets 2 More Years at McMorran

Looks like though that they're giving Port Huron 2 more years to start coming out to games, or they're moving the team, as rumors of a move to Livingston County (to an unbuilt facility) have surfaced.

Sounds like more than rumors. If things "don't work out with McMorran", they are gone to Howell. Somehow I get the feeling that, once the new complex is ready to go, things will no longer "work out" with McMorran.

The part that is confusing is Kinney is quoted as saying they want to get involved wth triple A hockey (i.e. AHL) but went on to say a junior team is most likely. ????

That area of Michigan would never support or could never support
an AHL team. The have enough trouble with the IHL. AHL franchises
have a huge budget. Just not gonna fly up there...

LMAO this team NEEDED to fold when they became "The Flags" that one season?(Or was it actually for 2?)A non profit organization.
