MLA Announces First Six Teams
The Midwest Lacrosse Association, the country's newest semi pro indoor lacrosse league, is proud to announce the first six teams that will be participating in the MLA's inaugural season. Beginning in August of 2011, the MLA will consist of two divisions, an East Division and a West Division.
The East Division will consist of the RSCA Elite, from Lousiville Kentucky, playing at the River City Sports Arena, Celtic Lacrosse, from Cincinnati Ohio, playing at the River's Edge Indoor Sports facility and Champions Lacrosse from Detroit Michigan.
The West Division features True Players Lacrosse from Naperville Illinois, playing at the Players Indoor Sports Center, Infinity Lacrosse out of Madison Wisconsin, playing at the Keva Sports Center and Team Oxygen from Crystal Lake Illinois (a suburb of Chicago), playing at the Regional Sports Center.
The MLA is hoping to add a few more teams for this inaugural season, but expansion will be closing very soon.
More information about the season, including the inaugural season schedule, will be released in the coming weeks. For more information about the league and it's teams, visit us at www.midwestlacrosseassociation.com.
