The RimRockers Play2Win takes on the #18 West Texas Whirlwinds on Saturday, February 6th. Tip is set for 7:30 p.m. Central, and the game will be televised by RimCast TV.

• RimRockers' loss against the ABA Southeast Mavericks is the largest margin of defeat of an ABA basketball team in league history.

Wrong.

And as far as an ABA team playing against a non-ABA team, last year's CBA/ABA challenge saw the CBA East KY Miners crush the ABA WV Wild 172-70.

I recieved that information by Steve Tucker, the head coach of the Southeast Mavericks, that this was the worst loss in ABA history.

I feel alot better now...Thank You for the input!!

RimRockers Play2Win loses again 127-81 against Whirlwinds...Losing Streak Continues

On Saturday night, the West Texas Whirlwinds defeated the New Mexico RimRockers 127-81 in a benefit game named 'Hoopin' for Haiti'. League MVP Candidate, Marlo Saunders (6'5''-F-84, college: Texas-PB) led the Whirlwinds in scoring with 33 points including six 3-pointers. Newcomer Kenneth White (6'2''-G-85), in his third game with the Whirlwinds, had 23 points. RoShon Jacobs (6'4''-G-85, college: La-Monroe) scored 20 points and had 5 steals, while Marcus Saunders (6'8''-F/C-84, college: Texas-PB) shined with 14 points and 13 boards. The RimRockets were led in scoring by Jeffery Lawson with 20 points; Carl Washington and Alphonso Davis each had 17 points. Whirwinds are now 6-5 and will play the next game Sunday 14th vs the Texas Fuel.

ABA RimRockers Looking for Players in Houston, Texas

ABA RimRockers Play2Win, The 1# Exhibition Basketball team in the ABA, is looking for players in the city of Houston, Texas to play in an upcoming exhibition basketball game against the 1# ABA Southeast Mavericks on March 2nd at 7:30 in Beaumont, Texas.

The ABA RimRockers Play2Win are lookin for Big Men 6'7 or bigger, guards at least 6'0 with outside shooting abilities and able to play full-court man-to-man defense. This will be great exposure against the best semi-pro basketball team in the country. Players will play alot of minutes at the 4 and 5 spot.
