I hope so....
I'll be anxiously awaiting the announcement of what cities the exibition matches will be in for 2004. If I can get to one, I will. What I'm really hoping for is a team in Houston in 2005. I know several people including myself, that would buy season tickets if they played here. I saw the USA men's team play mexico here at the new reliant stadium and it was great, almost 70,000 in attendance. Let's hope the WUSA gets back on it's feet.

Didn't I hear that Carson and Blaine MN (former home of the Minnesota Thunder) were hosting the quasi-exhibitions for WUSA this summer?
Brandi Chastain and Sissi actually signed for Sacramento in the WPSL this year, IIRC.
I know there are going leagues in Europe, Japan, and South America. I suspect most of the American ladies are more involved in national team proceedings in advance of the Olympics... though I'd prefer April Heinrichs would spend less time on Athens being a "testimonial" for the old guard (that should have ended prior to WWC last year) and bring in more fresh troops. Choking off the future hurts the chances of WUSA reviving rather than helping.

New person in charge of reviving WUSA is not setting any deadlines, looking at cost containment, and seeing what's left of potential sponsors. It doesn't seem like there is going to be a league for 2005.
