Arena Soccer Association
Does anyone have any contact information for someone involved with a new arena soccer league called the Arena Soccer Association?
There was a story about it in the weekly franchise report some time back and I know they have a website (http://www.arenasoccerassociation.com) up.
If anyone could put me in touch with someone I could talk to regarding public/media relations, please let me know here or by e-mail at contcommpr@gmail.com.

JoeyJosephs I heard about this proposed league on BigSoccer under the indoor soccer forum. I would try there because there are soccer posters on there in the indoor soccer business for a living. I heard the Arena Soccer Association is being run by old NPSL commisioner Steve Paxos according to the posters. I am only going by what they posted. The ASA logo looks alot like the old NPSL logo that my hometown Buffalo Blizzard soccer team was a part of so that makes sense.
I also heard from the posters on BigSoccer that franchises will be in the midwest. That is all I have heard. I am only a indoor soccer fan but I would try BigSoccer indoor soccer forum. Let's Go Buffalo

The above post is in my opinion and I have no proof or link. I am just a Buffalo sports fan.

Thanks, BSF
Thanks for the lead. I'll check them out.
And, yes, I noticed, too, that their logo looked like the old NPSL logo.
If Paxos is involved, I know it will be successful.

The ASA Is Official!
Here's a link to my soccer blog, Soccer Scene USA, discussing the official kickoff announcement for the Arena Soccer Assocation.

How does the ASA compare to the new I League to be started by the USL in 2011?

Both leagues seemed to come out of nowhere. 16 months wait in this minor
league climate, may be too long to see things materialize.
A few warning signs to look for.
1) Teams being announced too soon then going away.
2) Teams being announced then jumping to a rival league.
3) Multi-team cities.
I would have rather the ASA & I-league try to work themselves into one.
Paxos did have a good track record with the Invaders and AISA/NPSL.
The Mid-West could really use a strong indoor league again. But please,
just one league...

Adios, OSC message boards. (2007-2017)
I agree. About the only good that came from the MISL(NISL)/ XSL split was that it clearly illustrated how stupid two leagues was.
I hope the I-League is a go as the AISA/NPSL was a blast. Small arenas but great fans and good soccer.
